Calculatin scores of mental impacts for operators, I prepared example from today’s morning session (see images below):
-
Timing: relationship between background recording time and impact time. It should be equal or >3 (in web plots timing is always =3). For <3 the data are not reliable enough.
-
Sigma impact: (mean of background region)/(mean of impact region). It is calculated automatically and available as a separate bar diagram. Important parameters that says how strong was the impact (how strong is currently the operator)
-
Delay between begin of mental impact and begin of response of EIS dynamics. Another parameter that points to concentration time of the operator and its capability for mobilizing mental resources.
-
Mismatch between impacted channel and responded channel and intended change of trend (‘+’ or ‘-‘) and real change of trend.
Thus, web interface needs only 3 parameters for manual input from operator: sigma, delay and mismatch.
Protocol for operators: it is strongly advised to follow the following protocol: 1) relaxation phase 5-10 minutes; 2) remote impact I (strong phase), 5-10 minutes; 3) remote impact II (relaxed phase), 5-10 minutes. All phases are well recognizable in the EEG dynamics (see below). Total time for a session is thus 15-30 minutes.
